How do you burn DVDs that are locked to prevent them from being burned?
I'm curious to know if there's a way to burn DVDs that have locks on them to prevent them from being burned.

- There is.You can download software for it.
- If you mean copy protected when you say locked yes it possible to copy them using a program called DVD shrink you can get it here http://www.dvdshrink-stop.com/index.asp?s=go-uk&a=dvdshrink&kw=dvdshrink
- Any dvd ripper would do the job. You try Smartripper or Dvd-shrink as the above suggested.
- try DVD Shrink (dvdshrink.org). This will make the dvd into an .iso format, which you can burn onto a DVD with Nero. Note that most movies that have a lock on them are copyrighted, and it is illegal to burn them without permission ;=) If you have any problems, you can usually look at the "how" section in the dvdshrink website, and they have guides. Have fun!
- a tad slower but best copies ever are done using clone dvd and running a program called any dvd as well, any dvd removes the copy protection and clone dvd does the rest.absolute cracking copies that are as good as the original.never bother with the so called rippers etc that claim you can rip a dvd and burn it onto cdr, they do work but the quality is lower than the old video tape pictures.
