Why does my backup dvd of nfs carbon not work?

The original disc works fine of course but my dvd player does not even read my backup. How can I get the backup disc to work also? Can anyone tell me what to do?

1. u need to get a modchip which is illegal and u could ruin your ps2 installing it...... u need to buy it online obviously but try www.modchip.com
