Then I tried A Bugs Life, ( Disney / Pixar) and it said copy protected cannot copy. I tried other tapes with no success. Disney, Pixar, Dream Works, Universal. For whatever reason Antz worked now nothing else will. ANy help I can get would be appreciated. I am just trying to avoid having to buy all the dvd's when I allready have the tapes.

But then it asks me to save an image file, or something like that. If I continue, it claims to be copying. But then, when it's done, the DVD in the burner is still blank. A New DVD Copy Protection has surfaced. How do I work around this? I like to make back-up copies of my favorite DVDs. Historically I have used FABDVD Ripper (which worked very well). I have noticed that most all new DVDs released since the first of the year (2007) have a new copy protection scheme that causes the ripper to stop about ½ way into reading the original DVD and then just sit there like Dennis Hastard. DVD copy issues? I've been using Shrink and DVD Decrypter for a few years and recent release Sony DVD, I am not capable of copying. DVD Decrypter will decrypt it but Shrink, DVD clone III can not gain access to the files. DVD copy protection playback error? I'm trying to help my friend with a DVD error. When she inserts the Gilmore Girls Season 5 Disc 6 DVD into the DVD drive on her laptop, it says the following: Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card. She only has Windows Media Player on her laptop. I have tried updating the video card drivers, I updated media player to the newest version, and tried updating windows, with no success. All the other discs in the box work, and this one doesn't. Does anyone know how to use Fast DVD Copy 4.0.6 and Patch Burn4.04? I am pretty new at computers and I just bought Fast DVD Copy 4.0.6 . Which wasn't cheap. Sometimes I have no problems because the MBs can fit onto a blank DVD, but sometimes I can't copy a DVD to a Blank DVD because the Origional DVD has too many MBs. So I tried to DL PatchBurn4.04 which I think helps out the Fast DVD Copy, but I am not sure how to use it. I am using an ibook G4 laptop computer. I have used this device many times without problem - This is not a hardware issue (I have used the sony test drive software). I have used 5 different CD-R, so I rule out a fault with the disk.
